Interview Services for Academia and Literary Agents

Every college/university and every literary agent understands that the best public relation awareness possibility is “The Interview”. But, without a specialized facility available on site or under contract, the likelihood of “The Interview” being little better than the quality of a telephone call is most often the outcome. We've all heard those interviews – the one where the host sounds great; maybe even an 'in-studio' guest is included – and your faculty member or author sounds like a cell phone call from a truck stop.

Example #1: Big-Think University has an esteemed faculty who recently published a controversial research piece - “Arsenic in Water and its Effect on Newborns” and WOW Public State Radio wants to do an hour long interview/ call-in talkshow. From these faculty member interviews, Big-Think University gets great public exposure as a grand institution to attend or for which to work,  and needs Mrs. Esteemed Faculty to sound as if she is important enough to WOW Public Radio as to be actually sitting in their studios.

Example #2: As the Literary Agent for Mrs. Esteemed Faculty's new book, promotion follows textbook steps; with the first step being: contact as many media outlets as possible, and set up “The Interview”. Your objective is to put Mrs. Esteemed Faculty on as many public, College or commercial radio stations' local review show/talk show / current event shows as necessary to generate 'buzz'. If you're lucky, TV requests will follow. Soon, you, LA have a dozen or more 10 minute interviews scheduled, all on the same day. You could have Mrs. Esteemed Faculty sit at her desk and take phone call interviews – and it will sound like it! Or, she can be on-line from Literary Agent’s private studio. Acoustique Alkemie will project manage the media call ins, we produce Mrs. Esteemed Faculty, she's on mic and plugged into quality audio feeds, the media gets to project the image of Mrs. Esteemed Faculty “Here with us today in the studio to discuss her new book is author Mrs. Esteemed Faculty....”
