Why would you do this?

There are two simple truths; The first truth is that ‘home’ recording has allowed legions of very talented people to hone their craft in a relaxed atmosphere, at their own pace and at a cost significantly less by magnitudes than honing that craft in a traditional recording studio environment. The other simple truth is that most often, if not always, the result of the semi-pro recording is substantively less polished than that created by someone with decades of experience in all aspects of audio and its recording.

Remember? Was it a church? Perhaps it was a country village Grange Hall? Downtown hipster hang? Maybe a highway road house or college student union? Every performer, theater group or speaker has a favorite venue. The acoustics were perfect, the crowd energy was electric, the ambiance was a perfect compliment; whatever it was... it worked. Every time you return, it works. That's the place; the place for your next recording.
